Single Turbo Chrysler 300 Goes To The Track For The First Time

In this Video we finally get the single turbo Chrysler 300 to the race track for SCT (Street Car Takeover) St Louis. Neither the car or the driver have ever been on the race track so we start out on wastegate only for a few runs and then for first round of the 11.00 Index class we turn on the boost controller and give it just a little more boost than wastegate to try and get him to run 11.00 and it ran 11.00 on the dot!!

He babied it of the launch to blow out the tires. He needs a 15 inch conversion to hook good, 300c comes with a LSD off the lot,maybe a stall

NICE runs! Definitely a low 10 hi 9 capable on drag set up and suspension mods. Stock converter? She leaves soft. What are the build specs and where did you mount the turbo? Y'all should do a video detailing this build. Excellent work! 😁👍

Thank you, we are going to do a full break down video of the car here in a little while. the car now has a better tire on it, 2 step, and suspension so it should definitely get well into the 9's this year.

@@greazedlightninggarage6768 The beginning of this video was my first time EVER down a track and first time for the car also. I was leaving off idle (no boost) just learning to drive,launch,burnout etc. Thomas and Craig were very patient with me and explained every step.My very first race is at 4.00 in video I run twin turbo mustang and I run 11.005 @134.6 for the win My very first race ever.Convertor is a Pro Torque 3400 with 1.8-9 60 foot the car is slow first 300 ft but once up on a litte boost the car runs big trap speed,its a full weight,full interior luxury car with the air conditioning all still in place. I have never ran it on top boost setting,I will eventually but for now learning to drive and just have fun with it.I cant thank Chickenhawk enough for the build,all the help and guidance and friendship.I got lucky and picked the perfect shop for my car.And Thomas and Craig have answered hundreds of questions over the past 3 years and always get back to me quickly.

this was first weekend out with the car, its been out again on a little better tire and a little more boost and he let out of it a little after the 1/8 and still coasted to a 10.80!! this thing is for sure going 9's this next season, its going on a diet and getting new suspension parts so we can get the 60ft down more

U should be in the high 9's with that turbo, 11 seems kinda high, very fast don't get me wrong but for 1000hp it should be in the 9's as a 3.0 whipple get's 6.1 300c's into LOW 10's sometimes actually high 9's

This was the car on street tire and the lowest setting this car has went 9.49 as of right now and will hopefully go 8.90’s in a couple weeks
