We all have a God-shaped void, that we try to fill with counterfeits that only Jesus Christ can fill.. he wants a relationship and fellowship with us. He loves us and wants to spend eternity in heaven with us. We need to be sorry to God for what the Bible says is sin. Only once we realize we're lost can we be saved by trusting and the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He shed his blood for us taking our sins upon him, and he gives us his righteousness when we put our trust in his finished work on the cross, asking him to forgive us and save our souls from hell.

Auden is doing everything so damn well... by that I mean he's taking the smart approach. Filling out his frame... being healthy. Doing the right exercises. Basically he sees what made his dad number 1/2 in the world & then adds some own personal things (that I honestly would love to see Devon do too, but whatever, who the fuck am I to say)... Good to see what's possible for a young man without special "vitamins". He still has years to go before he's reached his true peak. In the long run, he'll be better than most.

I wonder if using a weight lifting belt - or those stretchy belts that javelin throwers use (if you want to use a less constricting version of a belt) - would help with armwrestling lifts. You get a much better brace when you use a belt. I think doing deadlifts with a belt to learn how to use the belt (you need to learn to brace without the belt in deadlift, and then you need to learn to brace using the belt) - then from here you could move on to trying to see if you can use the belt in armwrestling lifts. But I don't know if belted armwrestling lifts translate to the table necessary. For example in deadlifts, you use the straps, so your grip strength stops being the limiting factor in your lifts. You also use the belt so you're able to lift bigger weights, which in turn help you develop your other muscles - and again, you're not limited by your core. I feel like if you can move bigger weights, it will make your hand and arm muscles stronger - but at the cost of your core maybe becoming weaker (because now you don't rely on your core so heavily, since your belt does some of that work for you). The question really is: which do you need more in an armwrestling match: stronger hand and arm, or stronger core? What is the limiting factor? My initial guess is that for quick hits from the opponent, you don't even have time to properly brace your core for the impact, before you're already in a bad position - so you rely more on your hand and arm and for defending against those (note: I don't know what kind of breathing / bracing you use in an armwrestling ready go situation). Maybe even the same thing with offensive hits: you don't know when ready go comes, so you don't have time to brace so strongly (although you might brace in advance to predict the ready go). Hybrid solution: separate exercises for core development, and belt for the big lifts. Similar to how people who use straps for deadlift separately train their grip. This way you get best results in deadlifts, while your grip becomes stronger than if you used your deadlift as a part of your grip training (which is a really stupid thing to do - the progress in your grip is quite minimal than if you did specific grip training). I definitely see a lot of potential for belt use here. Edit: could be that in armwrestling lifts, the weights are so low, that core is never a limiting factor, and therefore, you don't need a belt.
