What are your thoughts on this expansion? Did you like it? No? Maybe liked the heroes more than the villains?

Just picked up Sinister Motives! My first expansion for the game! I can't wait to try it out when I get home!!!

I made it this far in the video so here's what I think of the expansion: I played through the campaign twice, once each with Miles and Gwen. About Miles: I like his hero cards a lot. His special moves are so much fun to activate. But I didn't like the SHIELD deck at all. (It felt like the SHIELD cards were so expensive and non-impactful that you might never have the time or resources to want to play them over things that will help you out immediately. Also, flavor-wise I like to do cool things as a superhero and I didn't like that it was SHIELD and not me that was doing the cool things.) About Gwen: I like her a lot too. She feels more combo-licious than Miles and her default deck plays into her ability well. The way I think of Ticket to the Multiverse is not as an upgrade that lets you reset your turn but as a resource that you can shuffle back into your deck as many times as you want :P because even with Web-Bracelets letting me draw cards in hero form, I found myself flipping to alter ego form a lot just to shuffle the Ticket back in. About the campaign: I played it first with Miles and didn't think it was that special - but then I played it with Gwen and thought it was a ton of fun! (This isn't the first time this has happened - goes to show that you'll have more fun with a deck you like, lol.) The reputation track is such a good addition too. And who doesn't want to be a superhero saving trains from going off the rails and cats from trees in addition to fighting supervillains? Lol. And the thing about the reputation track penalties is that they just put in enemies and side schemes for you to defeat and get rid of Public Outcry faster :p. About the villains: Sandman felt really hard (though maybe it was because I was getting used to two new decks both times I played against him). Venom felt like a pushover once you get the bells ringing. Mysterio was fun, and I liked that his encounter sets let me draw extra cards and I got to draw cards even when I had to discard the encounter cards from my deck, but otherwise didn't feel too special or challenging. The Sinister Six was awesome! And Venom Goblin was overwhelming and things were always either getting way out of hand or right on the edge of getting out of hand - very hard but not impossible :P About the modular sets: Down to Earth is one of my favorite things in the whole game. The others all felt unique in their own ways but none of them felt super special like Down to Earth did.
