@@drmaha5987 The beat way to finish off a host who's 1 hit away from death, is poke weapon attacks, especially the ones that give you good forward momentum like thrusting swords, heavy thrusting swords, lances, heavy spears, ECT. Of course these are always good options to hardswap to if you can, but any weapon class that has a fast running attack will be a good option as long as you're familiar with its timing and range. You really just have to stay on them, keep the pressure, make them panic roll and finish with a running R1. Another option is to have ashes of war that have good range for finishing opponents, like Thunderbolt, Glintstone Pebble, Storm Blade, Beat's Roar. Hope this helps.
