Hey Ferd, thank you so much! Did you click the bell? That should get you notifications. I’ll be on vacation for the week, when I come back, I have some fun watches coming up. Thanks again!

@@DougFNJ Yes Doug, the bell has been turned on. KZbin and their algorithms 😝

I've always wanted one of these. Eventually one will end up in my rotation.

These are great value for what you get. Such a unique watch.

I've had this watch since 2011. Still going strong with the eta 2824-2. The leatherette cover on the box will disintegrate over time.

Wish these still had the ETA, but sellita movements have much improved the last few years.

I feel that the Pelagos is Tudor’s take on the Sinn U1. 😅 What do you think?
@DougFNJ11 ай бұрын
That’s a great question. I could see the thought there, what I like about the grade of coating on the steel Sinn used is the darker metal making it appear almost titanium without the light weight. Both watches have zero polish anywhere on them, both true tool watches that appeal to the same crowd.

I loved my U1 but the lume is really bad and I did not like the AR coating on the outside of the glass, it leaves a lot of smudges on the glass.
@DougFNJ Жыл бұрын
The Lume isn’t great, but it does stay charged for a long time. The AR coating is one of the things I like about this watch, the crystal disappears, the smudges could be wiped.

Agree. I've got the u1 SE. Lume doesn't glow like seiko, but it lasts the whole night. No problems reading the time when I wake up in the middle of the night. Love the watch!

Nice watch, the only sinn for me would be 757s utc.
@DougFNJ Жыл бұрын
Thanks Phil, 757’s are nice, U series definitely isn’t for everyone.

The lume is designed for longevity not short term brightness.🙄
