According to Lars, modern archery sport (arrow on the left with left bow handle and one-eyed aiming) is not effective and does not represent the history and the utility of archery. Modern archery sport put too much emphasize to hitting the bullseye. While arrow on the left and one eyed aiming helped with hitting the bullseye, it required too much time and steal away too much of your focus. It does not have any practical use other than hitting a still target. In the actual battlefield, you need to keep both eyes opened to react for incoming enemies and projectiles movement, as two eyes sight make a better visual cue for spatial recognition, and you need not only to shoot accurately but fast as well, else you will be outspeeded by the enemy before you can shoot any arrow, and arrow on the right make a faster arrow reload.

@@louiskalinggo1721 unless you are a horizontal shooter or angled shooter. Arrow on the right is good for those who hold the bow as vertical as can be. Arrow on the left, both eyes open, is perfect if you are holding the bow horizontal or at a 45 angle. I hold mine at a 45 and hit targets fast and reflexively rather than focusing so much. I can also balance on branches in a tree and shoot the bow, something you absolutely cannot do if you hold a bow vertically. Not just because of the branches but the fact the arrow will lose it's line as you shoot down.

Pretty sure he is actually defeated in that fight, but he was never trying to win. Pretty sure outside of that situation, even he considers Excalibur to be OP and doesn't use it for that reason

He din't get to use it against Yuuki. He tried to pull it out and just as he was charging towards Yuuki, the time ended and due to Yuuki wrecking his HP to a bare minimum whereas Yuuki still could take a few slashes more, Yuuki won thus he din't even get to use it after all.
