"Now you have my permission to die, game." Free Guppy item right out the gate, but that doesn't help that we're starting on a rough note with an absolutely abysmal tear rate. Thank GOD we picked up the Wafer in the first item room. Getting Squeezy on the second floor was the only thing preventing this run from being a Bona Fide struggle bus. Getting the Halo on that floor 2 Sacrifice room was clutch. That put our movement speed into a very comfortable place, and helped again with the tear rate. The Cancer trinket randomly showing up on top of that, followed immediately with a PhD Golden Pill shop? It's like the game realized they messed up and tried to apologize. That didn't stop them from throwing their usual wrench in the machine given the Greed fight in the XL floor shop, followed immediately by a Curse of the Blind. It has to be mentioned that getting Guppy despite zero devil deals is insanely lucky as well. With Torn Photo and Paschal Candle, we saw a base tear rate of 8.0, which is absolutely nuts (the highest tear rate I've seen in Isaac without Rock Bottom or Soy Milk). The fact that a tear rate like that was added onto Incubus and Gello absolutely shredded The Lamb. Going into our Victory Lap we got some heavy hitters like 4.5 Volt and Jacob's Ladder. Death's List plus Lost Contact is a really powerful synergy. Spectral tears on top of that made Mr. Victa invincible against almost every boss we saw. Delirium died in 51 seconds. This might be the single hardest run to rate I've ever seen. We saw the lowest tear rate I've seen on the channel, and the highest (again, with the exception of runs involving Rock Bottom). The fact that we victory lapped at the end sets the MINIMUM score for this run at a 6 on Jasonator53's Repentance Eden Run Dunk Rating. I think this is going to be an 8. Truly an exceptionally powerful run, but it was one that had to be fought for. The amount of obstacles the game threw at us in the first run cannot be ignored, and that's why I don't think this run will be rated any higher than that. Boy howdy what a rollercoaster of a run.
