Question of the episode: Currently nothing happens when we bomb the demon statues but if we could bomb them like we can the angel statues, what do you think we should get from it?

@@TheSauceYouGetLostin Have to bomb the statue 3 times, fighting a mini boss each time. On the third bomb spawns a new boss fight and you get 3 cursed chests, one of which containing a guppy item. This way early game it's a bigger investment and late game it can present the opportunity to transform into Guppy. The new boss would have to be mad hard tho.

Honestly, crooked Penny should be affected by luck. It starts out at 50% @ 0 luck and scale up to 80% @ 30 luck, so you always have at least a 20% chance to lose everything ^^

Hush should spawn a devil and an angel room regardless of chance or previous deal taking. That gives you, for defeating one of the more annoying bosses an additional floor worth of items (boss item is replaced by a normal item room).

the Doja Cat video gives me huge Giallo vibes, a 60s Italian horror/thriller style. Lots of christian iconography, lots of blood, lots of madness. It is of course a modern take and not true to the era. You could argue that it references the movie Carrie, and more general oldschool horror. Thanks for the rec!

DUNK RATING Happy Thursday Moshpit! Hope the week has treated you well. An Austin Powers reference always brightens my day, so lets see this run. Start. Stats are all meh, HP is concerning. 1-UP does give us some breathing room & My Little Unicorn is just great all around. Floor 1 Dead Bird is a fine enough item, but not exactly what you want on floor 1. Half price Piggy Bank in the shop it tempting. Boss gets impaled & we get a little extra speed & range. The game denies us the 1 cent we need for the bank, so we buy a key & go down. Floor 2 Resource drought continues & Crooked Penny in the item room is still on Sin's naughty list. Marrow from the Boss gives us just enough HP to take Dark Matter & The Pact from Stanley, some much needed boosts. Sin's hunt for the secret room pays off & Crooked Penny gets off the bench! It does literally have no downsides if you can't buy anything in the shop, so it makes some sense here. Floor 3 Curse of the XL. Joy. Item Room 1 does have The Virus, putting us at 2/3 for Spun. Not bad this early on. Item Room 2 has Sagittarius for more speed & piercing shots. Honestly? I forgive you XL floor, you had some great items here. Crooked Penny pays out in the Shop this time! Hey, it's almost like negating losing a shop (not really, but we can cope about it). I don't know if Hive Mind stacks or not though. A Horseman fight is pretty crap, you get an orbital whooo. Champion Peep is also awful, but Penny pays out again for a double Safety Pin. Floor 5 Stem Cells in the Item Room give us our first real red heart hp. Penny gives us a penny in the shop. Magic Scab from the boss lets us snag Lusty Blood & go on down. Floor 6 Black Feather is actually a nice trinket here, with 2 Safety Pins giving us a real damage up. Polaroid taken. We trade in Crooked Penny for Sulfur & grab Capricorn from Boss rush. The Mulligan from the Item room gives us Beelz & rounds out an excellent floor. Floor 7 Emperor card could be very comfy later. A second one means it's great right now. Sin simply disrespects Dad's Coin & heads on down. Floor 8 Brimstone Bombs from Stanley is the highlight here. Cathedral We need a Sinvicta GPS that tries to figure out how many wrong turns you can fit into a trip while still arriving at your destination. Also, we get Bookworm. Chest The Swarm, Toxic Shock, Booby Bombs & Experimental Treatment are all takes here. Experimental Treatment getting the nod to give us Spun largely negates any downsides it may have, but the tears down hardly matters & the range down is a literal whatever. Good roll on ET. Getting a full charge on Sulfur, rip the emperor & away we go! Final Verdict: 6/10. It's a strong 6, but a 6 nonetheless.

@sinvicta I like having external information mod on in your videos because I enjoy your content, but don't play isaac a lot if at all. It's helpful for me to be able to pause and see what an item does, especially if you're moving fast.

Crooked Penny Re-Work: Holding CP changes the denomination of every coin to 1 cent. Picking up a coin replenishes a charge on CP(if the player is holding counterfeit penny this effect is doubled) On activation CP either duplicates all pedestals/pickups in the room excluding runes/trinkets or consumes all pedestals and pickups in exchange for either a lucky penny or golden penny. Crooked Penny’s chance to duplicate is now affected by the players luck stat up to a maximum of 75% at 10 luck; each coin held provides an additional 0.5% chance in the players favor to duplicate up to maximum of 25% at 50 cents :)

Day 388 of asking Sin for a Fiend Folio run called Fiendish Firsts! But considering Sin seems to be Fiend Foliod out maybe he can try "Boss Butch" adds a bunch of new bosses who aren't completely unfair and for something very unique try "The future" mod adds a new floor with custom enemies and bosses and the boiler adds a third alternative for dross and downpour again with unique enemies and bosses! Maybe add the stranger mod adds a character that is more than a dozen in one!

The "paint the town red" video is some insane Hollywood satanic dream horror weirdo picasso "stuff" - true. Picasso made the most ugly overpriced pieces of junk in my opinion - people still consider it as art... However Isaac also kinda fits into a similar niche, but bc it's a "pixel art" game and because elements like "deals with the devil" are good integrated (video) game mechanics it (Isaac) handles the topic with way more irony. And thus Isaac probably does waaaaay less harm to isaac players than paint the town red does to "some confused teenage emo child really feeling and living that stuff going yeet crazy over the weirdness embracing the chaos". Lyrics are also doodoo. But just like you said it the hook is catchy af - that pattern is used alot in "modern" pop. Weird art plus bad lyrics plus weird rituals and illuminati symbolism plus ultra dope beat and melody and a catchy hook and there we got some mass manipulation woodoo.
