The Hong Kong garden is now called the noble house, it’s located in chislehurst kent (my local takeaway), opposite was a clothes shop called spellbound and just up the road is a cafe called mirage. A lot of the late 70’s punk bands were from around here, back then they were dubbed the Bromley Contingent. This is My most favourite song ever and it is 40 years old today....

I’m 15 and pretty new to all of this. My dad’s girlfriend was a goth in the 80s so recommended me a few bands but I found Siouxie a few months ago after I developed an interest in goth and punk (I also really like riot grrrl) and they’ve quickly become my favourite band to listen to. Man, that is such a killer tune, Ive always loved this song, and seeing her dancing with that arrogant cool demeanour and, brimming with pure raw talent. I remember Souxsie in bleached blonde hair posing and sniggering amongst a Punk mob in a TV studio during an infamous Sex Pistols interview. I was even thinking to myself at the age of like 12- that hard-faced girl will never turn out to be anything useful. Boy was I wrong about this talented beauty!

I'd say observations like "Manchild", 'from Boomerang' (The Creatures, which was Siouxsie and Budgie's side project), is about an actual vendetta between two families in Columbia.
