I love the way she could just chuck a random set of clothes on and make it look the coolest thing ever.

That was when punk was still mostly DIY. It was so much fun. I used to buy old men's oversized suits from the thrift store for 50 cents, and redesign them. We didn't have things like Hot Topic back then.

Old guy( me)....saw everybody except Janis....Debbie H., Ronnie,Exene, Crazy Gracie, Cass, Bonnie, St. James, you name 'um.... But, as incredible as all those singers ever were....there is Siouxsie.. Incandescent. Irreplaceable. None other.

Love this line-up (78-79 for Scream and Join Hands), the original raw power, though the one with McGeoch and Budgie produced some wonderful things.

nuttyneil100 European audiences are slightly less wild than American audiences. I've been to a number of concerts there and they are a bit different.

This is a German TV show, so they probably had rules for live TV. Still very tense in Germany in 1979. Still the wall separating east & west..

SO FREAKING AHEAD OF THEIR TIME !!! { Even their home town people are in shock and awe.} No one has ever even come close to anything this group put out.

I’m guessing this had to be very new and shocking for the 70s bc they never heard anything like that band then.
