The guitarist, John Valentine Carruthers, is conspicuous by his absence. Was his too ill to make an appearance for this video or had Siouxsie already sacked him before they got around to making it? Problem with being the guitarist for the band is you'll be the outsider entering a close-knit circle. Severin and Siouxsie are lifelong friends and Budgie is Siouxsie's husband. You piss off one, you piss off all three. When the excuse given for firing the guitarist is "he was no longer fitting in", you know that to mean he pissed one of us off, so he had to go.
