In this video I will review Bernheim Barrel Proof A223 Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey and let you know if I will sip on it until the bottle is gone and buy it again or if I will skip buying it once the bottle is gone and replace it with something else.

I like the Bernheim Original 90 proof Wheat Whiskey for $31, it is on my rebuy list. Very smooth, good after effects.

Ribbin one out! Best team name ever. Also I’m all for the MB playlist. Peter’s face always lights up more when MB is on. It’s so refreshing to see and enjoy the chemistry. I got A222 of this and I hope it’s good. Either way for me these are a skip. You’ll only find it at TW if you shop right when they open. By end of the day it’s gone.

P.S.!! My sister-in-law said she loves a wheated bourbon or any bourbon in a blackberry bourbon smash! That's a fave cocktail in the summer!! Cheers!! 🙂

I loved that intro.. I was laughing when your sister was waiting for you to say you are her brother. My favorite cocktail is an Smoked Old Fashioned. I was way more into cocktails in the beginning of my journey, but now I'm almost 100% drinking whiskey neat in a Glencairn.

I have this A223 and like it. I actually brought it upstairs last night and put it in my liquor cabinet to have for a 2nd try this week, probably tonight

Nice job! I’ll pass on these. I have some really good wheated whiskeys. My go to ones are Weller 12yr, Weller 107, Weller Full Proof, and one of my favorites is Old Elk double wheat. Cheers

You two are the best! I adore watching you both and this was a terrific review of a Sip It Or Skip It! Meh is not good Mary Bridget and Peter! I will not be trying this bourbon! I love getting the scoop on what to buy and what not to buy. Hey I agree this bourbon could be great for cocktails! I am a neat Scotch sipper and good Rye expressions and sometimes Bourbon but a cocktail here and there can be amazing! Hey I would start with the Old Fashioned because I love them although I usually use Rye and of course the Vieux Carre! I am going to keep sending cocktails because I do love reading about them whether I am enjoying a scotch or feeling like a cocktail! Hey a Gold Rush with the honey and a wheated bourbon would be delicious!! Oh! My husband Joel just chimed in that he made a Paper Plane with a wheated bourbon and loved it! I have to try that! That's a terrific cocktail! he also said the Final Ward and a Whisky Sour with wheated bourbons are great - or any bourbon!! I think it's so awesome you are all doing the BBQ competition!! How did the second one go?! I love BBQ!! Peated scotch goes so well with BBQ!! Of course!! Adore you both!! Hope you are both super well and the whole family!! 🙂

Wheaters are ok for a sip when offered, they are velvety and easy to drink, but I don't buy them.

I have all 3 of the Bernheim BP’s…A223, B923 and A224. I like wheaters and enjoy all 3. The A224 is the best and highest proof. 🥃

Had higher hopes for this one, only see the regular shelfer in my area, never once seen the barrel proof or see anyone post about it being out in the wild.
