You totally got this!! I also discovered another ombré technique that’s even easier than this!! I linked it in my description in case you’re interested 💕 it’s called scrub ombré 🙌🏼 you basically scrub the pigment onto the nails so no rushing or tapping 😊

Love this! I actually had this done at a salon 2 years ago, but you made it look SO much easier. Quick question: how long does the top coat take to completely set? I’m not a patient person and am looking forward to doing my nails at home so they’ll actually last, but I don’t want to be useless for hours while the polish cures. Thank you for the video!!

So each dip powder liquid brand set can vary. But I would say the general consensus is about 5-10 min. I like to wait about 10 min before I do any cuticle oil, just to be safe! If you need even quicker, you could absolutely do a gel topcoat and then once you cure it for usually 60 sec, you are all done! I also have a video on doing the scrum ombre which is even easier than this! I am obsessed with trying out new techniques. Good luck girlfriend!!

For this brand of liquids and dip powder, yes ☺️ the first application hardens the dip powder to get it ready for filing. The second application after filing basically cleans it and penetrates the rest of the dip powder so we can apply top coat. If you wanted to do a gel top coat, you could skip the 2nd activator and cleanse with rubbing alcohol. If you had a “fast dry” dip powder system they typically skip the 2nd activation because theirs dry on their own. Hope this helps! 🥰

purplelove223 I have the professional liquids, I have not tried the EZ liquids yet. For this design I used several brushes. Some colors stain the brushes. But some colors were able to just brush off on a paper towel. So I rubbed the brushes really good on a paper towel to get the color off. But if it stained it, then I grabbed another brush before I moved on. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Hi love! I remember those days! I used their pro liquids. I haven't tried out the EZ liquids just yet. I hope your mini took a nice long nap for you! If you find this ombre technique to be difficult, I really suggest checking out my scrub ombre video. It is much easier, less rushing and messy too. Hope this helps!
