Siphon 4Inch bottom drain to a gravity fed Profi Drum

This video is of me using a siphon system to supply water to a profi drum and the setup of the drum and pond to get it partially working before a tank is installed in the adjacent garage to run as a quarantine and catch the water from the bakki shower

Very interesting set up. As long as the pipe holds the siphon it should work well. I was thinking just as a safe guard in case the valve on the vacuum line leaks allowing air in you may want to add a rubber blanking cap to the pipe above the valve to completely eliminate any air penetration. Looking forward to another video as a follow up to see how things are going. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thats a great idea you'll see that on there in the next video with this pond as its always a worry that the siphon will fail.

My dad did the same on his pond many years ago using solvent pipe and it worked fine 👍 obviously not as good as a standard bottom drain but still better than pump fed imo

That was an interesting concept, got to sort my mess out with bottom drain & Nexus, I'm not to happy with way it's running, perhaps you could come up with an idea for it. Half the problem is, I'm limited to space.I'll send a video to you and if possible, let me know what you think would be the best way forward.
