Sips! Some dirt factory suggestions: 1. Get creative- beyond just creating dirt, aerate (drop down an open shaft), water (drop in stream), bake (pipe through fire over netherack), etc... 2. Also consider a key part of any good factory is quality control. Use pistons to "weigh" dirt, or placed dirt blocks to check grass (or wheat...) growing capabilities and enrich the soil with organic matter.... Lastly, an idea for pure fun- "camouflage" your base by covering the bottom with light blue wool?

You're supposed to start with a macerator and right after that, assemble an extractor (or if you have lots of Iron and not enough resin, then start with an extractor and then make a macerator)

I guess when it comes to actually making dirt you either have to use a mass fabricator (expensive) or run a flatification blueprint terraformer, that produces a lot of dirt.

If you people are still complaining about the blatant lack of historical accuracy in the commentary, then you need to watch more of Sips and Sjin's older videos, especially Minecraft and Tekkit. Nothing they say is supposed to be true, it's just Lego Talk while they play minecraft, and it's one of the best parts about Sips and Sjin.
