First of all. They are using yogcraft in the feed the beast launcher. To get the bdcraft textures to work with all the mod textures you need to download patches on their forum.

Umm, pretty sure it was Duncan who started it all with 'Tekkit with Duncan' then after the world explosion he started on a new one, then Lewis & Simon, THEN Sips & Sjin in response to the factory they pretended to make, then Rythian (The Tekkit prequel) to move on with Zoey and finally Hannah & Nilsey, then Rail Bros jumped in alsong with the various dotted people who crop up.
