Great concept by wild card. I remember in Atlas you would hire "crew members" for your ship that you would pay with gold so you could basically control the ship's cannons and sails without having to move. They really should bring that to ASA so you can like... get the bot on the anky while you fly so you can farm metal by yourself

You have to place one metal or rock in its inventory then highlight that one metal or Rock click in R3 and then go to set as input my guy started running right away towards every Rock

In my testing you don't need to have inputs on the "organizer" (i prefer to call him a butler). If they have no input they'll just look at storage and see what needs to be moved, but i haven't tried it outside of a testing setting. I will also mention that wildcard intenda to make improvements to survivor mate in an upcoming patch. Hopefully that'll fix a bunch of issues people are having.

Other than its pathing issues, I hope they make it so it can pull items from dinos (maybe unridden ones). Would be handy for them to pull fertilizer from dung beetles and put it into crop plots (they can put in in plots already). Or run metal from your anky to the forge.

@@captnblackmarrow gene hunting is a pain it takes time so it's not exactly a spoon feed at least. The bot is beyond useless it literally does nothing on official. I've been on all morning and it has successfully done 0 tasks lmao. You'd be better off playing with another player or leaving ankys on wandering around metal and ob 100%. And the coils are dumb expensive to run. You'd be better off planting species x tbh. The watch is questionable af tho. Like would people be able to react in time and have enough frames to stop a majority of deaths? How reliable is it? Idk 🤷‍♀️ I just wish they didn't bar people from using stuff given to them from people who own packs. I wasn't even allowed to feed a baby Pyro someone gave me without paying. I just hope if they do release packs with nothing insanely good in it that people don't complain that they're paying for "nothing".

@@MissImpolite Yeah, I'm glad it's not super easy to track down wild traits at least. The bot is the perfect showcase of Wildcard releasing half-baked/unfinished and buggy content. I'm sure they'll make it functional with an update, but it should be a non-issue to begin with haha. I haven't seen any videos on how the watch works, any luck on your end? Hope it's not super game-breaking 🙃

@captnblackmarrow I haven't even looked tbh. I was so busy moving resources to craft the new stuff for breeding before heading to work. It says it resets your person timeline to "the past". But idk how far back that is or if there's an animation it has to go through so that would determine how good it is for me at least. Will I use it? Probably not haha

@@gababoaters9448 I figured it out. The new Sir-5rM8 was not harvesting when I put resources in its inventory because I was using the, "TG STACKING MOD 10000-90" (I'm on Xbox Series X btw). Once I Disabled the mod it worked right away and started harvesting. @TeachersGameToo

@@louisjones6210 if you're talking about the item from Bob's Tall Tales I haven't play the ascended yet so I don't know the mechanics of the cart but the reason I say it's the only thing that matters is it has to be done with wide species seeds because then the rivers of element May flow. And that may be sufficient reason to go out and buy a PS5

Everything you showcased of these things, either they bugged out and you had to intervene, or they simply wouldn’t function as advertised. So you still have to micromanage and spend the same amount of time fooling with the bots as u would doing it yourself. At least until these things are optimized

They had to disable some graphic optimization features for now to work on them for compatibility with newer features, so right now performance have been downgraded, but they will eventually be better

I haven't run into any new lag issues but I still have issues with opening doors near lamposts/other light sources. Lag spike every time. I did check out ab on singleplayer and noticed I only get super laggy when moving around in the light given off by wild featherlights. Definitely some lighting stuff is out of whack.
