This is a very simple but probably the best example of how Sir Alex was a great manager and Roy Keane will never be a great gaffer. He can communicate to anyone with a bit of warmth while also maintaining his complete authority by telling the lad to get a hair cut as Brian Clough made his catchphrase. That's one reason why Fergie was one of the most successful because he could lighten the mood and create a real team spirit and unity but was never far from cracking the whip. Keano seems to revel in bollocking players and having a scrap with players (he admitted so n his book). Any manager hoping to reach the top conduct themselves in a far superior way than continually being harsh to players. I have to say tho I would love Roy Keane to be let lose on some of todays primma donnas Raheem sterling and the like. hey really need to be taken down a peg or three!

Adam cooper Roy Keane himself is a brilliant manager material for he is an aggressive charismatic leader. Last year Ireland shocked Germany in Euro qualifier. Wait for more upsets to come.

Adam cooper You dont simply walk into a team for the first time and become manager. You work under someone's stewardship That's Keane first shot at national level. Obviously he is assistant. Not taking anything away from Martin O'Neil who could have been the best person to groom Keano into managerial material. But you can't deny the fact Keane is exceptional at Marshalling his team.

It was the Rockafeller Building Sept 20th 1932. The photo is known as Lunch atop a skyscraper. There was a film made about it on Irish tv.
