Literally the only celebrity that makes me sad seeing him older. I’m 26 I love only fools my dad loves only fools, my grandad loved only fools. My nephew 12 years old loves it. Point is it’s timeless anyone with British humour loves it. The acting at times was also excellent too.

When I was much younger, I did some extra work on Only Fools & Horses. I can absolutely confirm what a lovely man he is. Both Lyndhurst and Sir Jason were true gents, and never looked down on anyone. On one morning, I was making myself some tea, when I heard, “Morning!” I turn around to a warm smile from Sir Jason. He is such a class act on every level.

My late mother in law disliked only fools and horses. When asked why she gave a great rundown on the dodgy antics of the characters especially what Dell boy got up to. She was a lovely woman and I loved how she was so immersed in the 'reality' of the characters and storylines. She gave testament to just how good it was.

I find it so funny and a bit bonkers at the same time, because when David was younger he played an old man when he was in Porridge, and he eventually aged to look like the actual character he played years ago. The make up artist must have had a crystal ball 😂

There’s a video on KZbin but I don’t know what it’s called but it shows all the outtakes, which really aren’t outtakes because of the cast, just the production team making sure the cameras are in the right place and asking the cast to move a little over to one side, react in a certain way, all the niggly stuff. Ronnie Barker was an absolute gentleman to the crew, responded to them all as ‘sir’ and came up with little ad libs while waiting around on stage, which were hilarious… the man had true comedic talent. We lost an icon when he passed away

They could have mentioned it but he's done so much, it would be tough to even cover just the big stuff. It's not as well known as Frost but I first saw his straight acting in Porterhouse Blue. The mini-series itself had a lot of dark humour but he played it pretty straight.
