A great, great player....and that whipped reverse pass.......turned an attack instantly.

What about Sam Whaburton and Richie macaw? As the amount of time Sam bought his team with his knowledge of the breakdown and the amount of bs that Richie got away with made them far more valuable then any other rugby player if you ask me

It's difficult to compare different periods, and i'm too young to saw his game. But just looking this video, Antoine Dupont have two Gareth Edward in each legs.

Perhaps in Union but I think Alex Murphy would have given him a run for his money!

I'm sure he was a great player but the greatest modern day scrum-half is South African and his name is Fourie Du Preez. Has won everything in the game including a Rugby World cup. Even Aaron Smith has said Fourie Du Preez is the g.o.a.t.

Buddy, I'm a Bok. Lived in Kensington and Chelsea since 12. Father's job. 5 or 6 nations tournament? Nothing beats it for atmosphere. It's like Gatland said recently. When NZ or Boks play at home, probably 90% of the crowd are home supporters. In 6 nations, mostly, 40% are away supporters, adding to the atmosphere; and pressure. Edwards in that short clip, didn't really show the whole story. It was cut to pieces. The try against Scotland in the mud? He outpaced players for 75 yards, as it was then. So Nowhere near Edwards. In fact, I'd say Joost was better at 9 for SA than him. To make so many comments elsewhere, you sound young and desperate, with very little knowledge of the game. You used GOAT...perhaps you're a smartphone kid.
