great to see a boat powered up.... 90% of channels are just bobbing about getting seasick because they are underpowered by at least 30%

Nice boat. - But what so you mean by 30+ knots? Wind Speed? Honestly, given the sea state and the amount of canvas, I highly doubt that this are 30 knots.

Whitecaps begin forming around 12 kts so this is nowhere close to 30.

White caps do not form at 12 knot’s. And water between islands like that doesn’t have time to build. I sail the PNW 4 days a week and white capped waves forming that close to a lee shore would mean 40 kn
