The irony of the title on the thumbnail is extraordinary.

Hi Allan, where's the irony?

@JamesLaughlinOfficial You don't know the story about why he had to resign?

Great interview, really enjoyed this. You know its a great interview when you feel your the only audience listening to the questions and the answers between two people. Learnt alot from this.

Thank you so much Sam. That’s means a lot. What was one of your most valued takeaways?
@producer4936 Жыл бұрын
@@JamesLaughlinOfficial - Hi James, the Calmness factor to always remain calm - Im not naturally calm but have got better since being a father/ and age. Also to "trust your instincts" and to back yourself. Was impressed also by his son Max's attitude to his builders - remembering their names to asking them if theres anything they need to wishing them all a great weekend....the little things - relationship wise........creating that "power of love" and not "love of power" .

@@producer4936 I really admire your attention to detail. In a world where we get so distracted, it’s inspiring to see someone really focus and take away such great nuggets from John.

Really enjoyed this. What a great Prime Minister he was. Seems a top bloke too. Well done.

Thanks Pat. Where are you from? And I have to agree - John was a phenomenal PM!

Ashburton NZ. Some I know had a little to do with him. They would say he was very relatable because of where he'd come from, and had never forgotten that. Obama rated him high so that's a pretty good pass mark. Really enjoying your channel here, as well as your pipe band videos.

@@pat1589 don't know about great. He sold heaps of assets, and did nothing to reduce the hegemony of big pharma or to over turn the corrupt banking system which creates inflation and consequently makes the poor poorer and the rich richer.

@@JamesLaughlinOfficial Absolutely will do :) Biggest take away for me - is the drive John has and the i guess Kiwi attitude of roll your sleeves up and just do it! I did not know the background of his Mother, and that explained a huge amount. Another great nugget was keeping a level head - you can't make structural decisions when your brain is on tilt! Easier said that done I know but still great advice. Last but not least the absolute belief in yourself - have a go and trust your instinct at all costs. I can't thank you enough for making this public.

@@JamesLaughlinOfficial - I loved how honest he was throughout the interview. He has a pretty incredible way of engaging with people (which you can see during this interview). Very humble. The way he answered your last question was awesome because he’s spot on. Great interview.
