I read about a certain Schommer, U.S Army. the likes of Josh Scandal. He got a Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally distinguished service during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His Iraq experience helps him now in dealing with the grind of daily volatility in tough stock markets - and those big gulp moments.

I thought you said "no politics"yet you started and ended with politics ? ,Keys started the rot in NZ with his policies of foreign investment and cutbacks to Social services especially for those most in need ,remember before the election he lost, he promised to put $25m back into social services ,as for AUS faring better and lots of Kiwi's over there,Australia 29×larger than NZ with a population of 25+m people ,their exports of iron ore,coal,critical minerals and gas alone are worth between $300b-$400b alone before beef +sheep meats,wheat,wine ,etc etc worth more billions so to compare the two countries is misleading,yes Kiwi's go for money+lifestyle but crime is higher,as of yesterday from the beginning of the year 42 women were murdered thru DV,not including children,15 police shootings ,an Outlaw bikie gang war for control of the drug trade 25 murdered ,car jackings,youth crime,Corporate crime with multiple investigations ,every country is facing an increase in crime ,the US mass murders every week ,yesterday in Aus the Commonwealth bank reported a $10.2B profit ,CEO got a a bonus of millions ,workers none,every "big 4 Bank" ANZ,WESTPAC,NAB made huge profits as did Supermarkets, gas,coal etc CEO's 17-25% salary rises while workers wages remained below rate increases .The OECD,IMF revealed exorbitant price increases not wages caused interest rates and cost of living increases ,Australia AND New Zealand are still the best countries in the world 🤬🤬😡😡😠😠

Of course John Key doesn't have Mortgage stress. He sold his Parnell mansion for $23.5 million in 2017 to a Chinese business man with Chinese Government connections for $7 million over it's valuation. The businessman suffered a $7.2m loss when he resold the former prime minister’s glamorous home in November, having never even lived in it.

NZs debt in 2008 was 10B, when John Key quit on the announcement he was getting a knighthood NZs debt was over 120B+. Australia gave Key their highest Honour because he drove so much bank profit to Australia in NZs history. John Key left Myrille Lynch with debt levels in economic products, (he created in Ireland, but were illegal in America,) so staggering he was agast, when he visited them a few years later?. In Dec 2016, he made an economic prediction that NZ average wage would be 3%, he based this figure on the economic impact of privatizing four power company's and the salary rise of its CEO's. So four CEO's salary wage rises were so staggering, they caused a 3% growth in the average wage.

Talk more nonsense. Do you remember what else happened in 2008? Hint: GFC. He had nothing to do with debt/products with Merill Lynch, he ran their Foreign Exchange business. Read more conspiracy experts.

As much as the nations *Tall poppy people hate it, Sir Key is a very successful businessman & did his best while leading our country. The man has a wealth of knowledge, which indeed goes much deeper than expressed in this interview. It is a shame that we do not get to hear his deeper thoughts on items such a blackrock & how they could effect our nation 5, 10yrs down the track, both good & bad. Of course John is going to vote blue yet that is not solely due to his personal bias, as he clearly stated & we all know... Labour failed & have left us in a pretty bad situation. 2c spent

Good show Madison I know it must be really hard to interview a human being like this interview with the replies he gives. He hasn’t much of an idea what’s happening in the rest of the world and he keeping very quite and just generalising as he probably doesn’t want to be wrong again. Just my perception. Don’t know how he got to at the head of ANZ New Zealand but anything can happen nowadays.

As always since 30 years ago Western media has been reporting that China's economy is going to collapse. And India's economy is booming.... But today, China's GDP is almost 6 times larger than India's although both were almost the same in the 1990s.
@tedtates

Chinas GDP has gone up 40x in the last 30 years compared to the USA's GDP only going up 3.4x in the last 30 years.. An around 25 - 30 years ago JAPAN use to be a richer nation then the USA per GDP CAPITA BY over 57% but there population hasn't grown at all so there economy has basically just flat lined at 5 trillion an makes it look like they retired 30 years ago.. China is the future in my eyes.. India has alot of potential too.. indias GDP Per capita is still only $2500usd a lot of room for growth to even get remotely close to Chinas $12,550usd per capita..

and yet he took on a relatively lowly paid job as PM compared to what he could have earned, to help get the county on a better track .... a so called "rock star" economy. How quickly things change when we simply look for things to throw money at. Without a strong economy we will not be able to support our growing social needs and give the needed leg up for people at the bottom. Grateful for people like him who apply their skills to the betterment of NZ society. Same could be said for Chris Luxon. Who in the labour party could earm more outside politics? We simply do not have people with the acumen in any other party to make decisions that will affect us all.

One of the best things Sir John key did when he was prime Minister was give 33 per cent back on the dollar for donations this allowed people to give more to aid foundations like world vision for instance i think he has a caring heart and a intelligent mind and he was instrumental in setting up tpp with Barak Obama that unfortunately donald trump eliminated on his first day in office however donald lost the election opening the door for Chris Hipkins to rejoin the tpp let's hope the US can join the tpp which would be a great breakthrough

As PM (head of the GCSB) he stated he would quit as PM if it was found that NZders were being spied on thru mass surveillance programs, of which he initially denied existed 5. He resigns as PM and said his reason were personal/family just after Trump won the 2016 presidential election 5. He gets the top job for the biggest bank in NZ that makes huge profits while ordinary NZders struggle to find affordable accomodation and food to feed their family

@@JamesClark-cg1qk This is not abt left or right politics. This is abt John Key being a sock puppet for the banking establishment. The system our politicians operate in is so one sided to favour the rich/elite, people like John key and Jacinda Ardern actually believe they're doing right by the people of NZ but in reality they're helping to destroy the last vestiges of true freedom we have left.

If John Keys was living as most lower and middle income New Zealand's, He would have the same view as us. I would like to know how to become rich, the problem been is that unless you have a good support network your are doomed, and most young works get shouted and abused to do their job correctly rather than help support and nurture the coincidence . And this comes to the old saying, it takes money to make money. But that said I feel been 35 now and having the same birthday as him, He was a badly good Prime Minister.
