God i love to see grown men talk about marriage. My husband grew up on the streets. Lost.... We've been together 22 years. Lots of ups and downs. A ton of patience and forgiveness. Lots of hard conversations like he said. Lots of phone calls checking in. Open phones. Addiction doesnt discriminate Were healing now. And its beautiful to watch my husband's growth. Our growth. Hes chooses himself everyday therefore he chooses us. They have to want it for themselves. Not for their wives, mothers or children. They have to choose themselves. My husband tried to be sober for me, for our kids. But never for himself. But once he chose himself the change began. Thank you so much for this conversation.
