Horray nearly completed the gingerbread house blanket and just got the edging to do. Already use the blanket in bed its so nice and warm. Feeling quite impressed with myself turning out stunning. Bit of a show off here but then all Sagatarius like to show off. Lol

I used stitch markers in the corners so it clarified where I was going. I dud exactly what was written by going in the corner and making sure after the ch 3 my next stitch was in the ch 3 or hidden st. My corners are nice. I hope this helps you

I am really struggling with the ginger bread border. I have already pulled it all out once and tried again but in round three my increase keep ending up in the valley and straightening my gentle waves. I recounted and can’t find an error. Help!!

@lottieandalbert When you are working the gingerbread section, is your first stitch after the corner stitches to the right or the left of the front post? It looks like you include it in the golden section and then miss it in the cream section. I’ve been including that stitch, but my repeats don’t seem to stack up properly. Thanks for your help!

on round 2 of the gingerbread boarder doing the slight waves - i’ve counted my stitched 5 times and have 184 (2 in corner, 40, 100, 40, 2 in corner). when working the pattern of 8 stitches (double, half, 4 single, half, double) i have 1 extra stich at the end which would make me end on a half double. i’m ready to just give up on this blanket. what am i doing wrong?!

I would just do a treble at the end and continue on. I marked every 8 stitches and it is amazing how often I had to go back and do the last wave or two because I had left out or done too many of one stitch. The markers keep me correct,

Lindsey does that mean that you are working into the lights panel twice on some stitches to get the 98 stitches to match the jumper panel?

Yes that’s right, use the stitch markers to evenly spread your stitches out ☺️

Lindsay, are you putting your hook through both loops of the V on each stitch on each piece as you crochet the two pieces together? I think it looks like you do.

For the sweets why didn’t you just do puff stitches ?, it’s so much easier than these surface ones , is it possible to do this ? Or will the pattern not allow it I’d rather put them in as I crochet as puffs ?

I’m upset I had to frog the entire first row because the directions in both the video and pattern weren’t very clear 😭 I realized after you have to do 4 extra switches on top of the 40, 100, 40 😭😭😭😭
