Just knowing that there’s something out there that you can’t fight back against, and that is both massive and loud yet really difficult to locate, and that isn’t actively hunting you (yet) but just is comfortable asserting its dominance over the area is why I love the type of horror brought to the game by this mod. You’re not at the top of the food chain anymore, and that fact isn’t obnoxiously shoved in your face, but it’s still very present. Would really be great as part of a hardcore or lifedrain type of series where death has real consequences.

I honestly think you have some of the better horror play throughs out there. It's not just a dweller reskin or jumpscare screen. Its creative and psycological! There's thought put into how the creatures act!

We need more mods like Siren Head. if you ask me the best horror entities are dynamic and interactive. Thats why wee woo man is terrifying, he isnt in your face constantly and you can avoid him, but will see him many times

I like it, but what if it was scary without the need of atmosphere, what if the horror instead of pulling you in by immersion, but by coming to you. An entity that follows you out of your world, an entity with player UI tools, an entity that scares you by nog jumping in your face, no, scares you another way...

Okay for some reason, a lot of the KZbinrs who play mods like Sirenhead or Cartoon Cat have never heard of them outside of that specific mod. Actually both Sirenhead and Cartoon Cat were made by Trevor Henderson and are both a lot older than we think, just because they got popular a little later. I will always be shocked when I hear someone say they don’t know Sirenhead.

I think in this case, Siren Head would be scarier if it made the sounds of other mobs instead of its traditional sounds, because it would be more convincing to the player. If you heard a cow moo, you wouldn't think there's Siren Head nearby.

Yes, I just added all of those to give it more ambience, however geckolib is required that way siren head has proper animations.

My guess is first person render, dynamic surrounds reforged or, the more active fabric one, presence footsteps, sounds(the mod is just called sounds it adds sounds to ui elements) spooklementary shader, and know that I think about it he also uses ambient sounds mod, and I think the hotbar is called like improved hotbar or something, the no crosshair or a resource pack(or a mod) that removes it like vanilla tweaks (just search it up and you can choose a bunch of different stuff like no crosshair)
