Recipe for: Shopski cheese in Güveche. Traditional Bulgarian Recipe. Easy Lunch or Dinner!
Necessary products:
1 large tomato, cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
300 g of cheese, cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
A few slices of green pepper
A few slices of red pepper
1 hot pepper
3 eggs
60 g of cow butter
1 clove of garlic
Paprika
Savory
Method of preparation:
Cut the garlic in half and rub half of it into the casserole.
Place half of the butter in the bottom of the casserole.
Arrange the tomato slices and sprinkle with savory.
Arrange the cheese slices on top of the tomatoes.
Spread the green and red pepper slices over the cheese.
Beat the eggs on top.
Add the remaining oil.
Sprinkle with savory and red pepper.
Add the chili pepper.
Put the lid on the casserole and put it in the oven. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees without fan for 30-40 minutes.
