I noticed you didn’t use breadcrumbs, as is often used in meatloaf. I made it exactly as you showed, and after rolling it up, the meat started to fall apart. I smashed it all back together and got it in the oven in one piece. Let’s hope it doesn’t fall apart when I try to slice it. Fingers crossed. It smells delicious! All done, and the meat did not fall apart when I sliced it! Woohoo! Thanks!

I don’t eat meat either. My wife takes one shredded zucchini, squeeze out all liquid, add mozzarella cheese,(100gr) and three eggs. Mix it well, put mixture on parchment paper and bake 360° 35-40:minutes, cool it off , gently turn it over and put any stuffing and then roll it. In this recipe fewer carbs and delicious.

Ich sag Danke schön für das leckere Video, das Einigen zu langsam war, weil sich viele an die kurzen Video's gewöhnt haben. Dabei ist Kochen zum Entspannen da mit Zeit, wie zum Beispiel am Wochenende mit Partner Ehemann zu genießen, so macht es doch sehr viel Freude. @@ElzbietaSz-S.-tt2l You will miss the healthy ingredients of parsley, onions, garlic which really add to the flavor. I used Gruyere cheese and made the sauce as instructed. The recipe for tomato and cucumber salad with walnut dressing was really excellent as well. Dessert was a cooked pears (olive oil, pomegranate balsamic vinegar, sugar, heavy cream). It's a lot of work and time -- the results were exceptional. I made the meat loaf the day before and the salad a few hours before my guests arrived. They were from Venezuela, had second helpings and everyone felt well satisfied. I will make this again for special occasions.

I enjoyed the video. Looking forward to making a meatloaf this way. If items that are to be used in the recipe are cut up, shaved, sauteed etc before assembling the meatloaf, things would move along faster. Also a typed narrative for the spices would be helpful. Thank you!

Traveling in Portugal and after getting tired of constantly eating out, we ventured into making this meatloaf at our rental village. The result was extraordinary, delicious beyond words! My only critique is that the video becomes a bit tedious when you demonstrate each step of the way. I think most of us know how to chop mushrooms or tomatoes! 🤭😉

You poor thing. Sorry you are going thru that. May I suggest lots of probiotics + Colostrum, fermented foods like Sauerkraut, Kimchi, Apple Cider vinegar to put gut bacteria back in place. Also drink lots of carbonated water. Get a CO2 tank and fill up bottles with homemade club soda. This will oxygenate your body fast, and give you energy.

i'm a meatloaf connoisseur! It took all my inner resolve not to get up and cook along with the video. Needless to say, I was glad that I had already dined before watching it. I loved the steady pace of the video so the recipe could be written down...then it's almost too pretty to eat. I would have used sweet red peppers with the cucumber because I am not allowed to eat tomatoes. I have a rare blood disease that causes platelets to drop really fast, so I can't really eat them, but I grew up on cucumber salad, which is yummy! Very nice presentation!

Two tablespoons is far too much for the average person!! Two teaspoons is more than enough unless you are used to a lot of spice!!

Ich ziehe den Zeitstrahl einfach nach vorne. Das lahme Getue dauert dann nur 5 sec, was wichtig ist, dort verweilen, um das Rezept zu beurteilen.

Try putting the breadcrumbs, milk, eggs & seasoning in a separate bowl a let it sit fur 15 munites then add it abd mix it gently into the meat and onions its much better. The meat loaf will be much more tender & soft over mixing causes it to go hard.. 😊

I make meatloaf for my family semi-regularly but mine is American style (one of the American styles as there are many). I love how different yours is - I'll definitely try it. BTW - as cool as I thought your WHOLE video was I could not get over how beautiful your tomatoes were! I have to grow my own to get something like that!

This is quite extraordinary! I had two thoughts initially when watching. 1. " Yay! I'm totally a mix-by-hand person too for meatloaf!". And....2. "Can you imagine a Vegetarian watching the meat mixing sequence, they'd be green". (no offense to dear vegetarians friends). Looking forward to trying this! My days of hand grating are over. I use electric...too many scratched up knuckles !

Great standard recipe to alther to taste, a flexible option, like: I would add 1 and 1/3 cup dried tomatoes or tomato pieces, and 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs to the meat to help hold it together and absorb excess moisture.

Sugestão: deixar o mesanplace pronto e só mostrar na hora de montar o bolo. Faço esse bolo com diversos recheios e na carne coloco creme de cebola que além de dar sabor, dá a liga tb.
