Every singer give their own style to songs, and every one do it great, otherwise they wouldn't be in the band, i do like it more with this girl, she has a strong voice wich is different from the other two singers. I love how her voice stands lauder than the music, Aylin voice for example blended with the music, sometimes I couldn't separate her voice from the other instruments (and that was not a bad thing, I loved it). so this is new, and interesting. I hope she'll be around for a long time.

I agree with you I was thinking how Ailyn voice would sound with the new music, and it's because she was the voice that was on the past four albums. Now Sirenia sound is not distinctive due to these operatic vocals that are so common with these types of bands, I know nobody will agree with me, but I am not crazy about this album. Maybe I need more time to get used to her vocals,. :)

Since Emma joined everything has improved so much in Sirenia. I started to like them again, their productions sound much better, composition got a lot more professional and she's the best frontwoman the could wish for: she has a great voice, great musicianship, a lot of talent and she's also really humble and pretty. Personally Fabienne was the Best singer Morten had. Henriette Gave a new dynamic with her voice, and the next 2 were not good singers at all, both of them were so monotone and they were boring to listen. But I give Aylin kudos for the last 2 albums, she was really evolving in her voice work, and thus getting me more interested in her evolution has a singer. Before, her voice work was just crappy. Maybe not her fault, I blame Morten, because she sounded the exact same as the last vocalist before her. I welcome this new Vocalist and I am curious to see if MORTEN will freakin EVOLVE according to her voice skills. As much as this album is finally something I can actually call "Sirenia" and actually something new of inspiration, I hope he does not make the same exact formula for the next album, as he has done in the past. "Perils of the Deep Blue" and "The Seventh Life Path" were a big slower departure from his "all the same kind of thing", but it was a Departure! I keep hopping for epicness on Sirenia just like "At Sixies and Sevens" was. I can keep dreaming, but I am still waiting for something at the level of the best Sirenia song ever, still today, "In a Manica". Still today, no other Sirenia song has topped or surpassed that song.

Yes, this album is composed taking in account properties of voice of Ailyn but not for voice range as must be and partly adapted for mezzo range due to lack of time in order to avoid failed label schedule, loss of money etc.

Iammelodic think back to his first move with Einar and Kenneth, they told him to fuck off because he wanted to give some creative solutions so he was pissed off and told them to fuck themselves. and he don't see it like we do but he sounds worse than Einar and Kenneth combined. he is changing shit and not letting Jon or JanE do what he wanted to in his first big band. Tristania did turn him into a bitter cold sad of a professional douche and he let himself become what he feared most. he openly admits in interviews that he likes to keep guard and be the only creative one and not let anyone else bother him with it, he likes to be alone and just do everything on his own.

Emmanuelle is the best singer of Sirenia. She is active opera singer and agreed to help Morten. But I think If Morten did not adjust all needed songs from Ailyn times and from this intermediate album for mezzo range Emmanuelle simply will forget about Sirenia. I do not like that now Emmanuelle has to try to sing as highly as Ailyn can. Any squeal whistle sound must be eliminated and forgotten. I think Emmanuelle will not risk to damage voice. Emmanuelle has other places for music activity. But sadly that other singers of Sirenia left to nowhere. Sirenia with Emmanuelle is True Sirenia. IMHO

Well written and crafted song. Emmanuelle is a singer with great potential. But in my opinion, Ailyn has more stage presence and charisma. Besides being a wonderful singer and that makes the vocals clean and classic ease. Of course, she could have limitations, but she was doing very well as Sirenia's lead singer. Victoria Pieroni Canta bien, pero no es para Sirenia, Sirenia estaba diseñado para el tono agudo de Ailyn, les puede gustar o no pero así es. No quiero ni pensar si se les ocurre agregar al playlist las canciones más antiguas

Primero y principal...Sirenia se diseña como se le canta el OJETE al compositor principal (el vago ese de pelo largo) y él moldea los temas según la cantante que tienen. Aylin no tenía una voz potente de acuerdo a los arreglos de Sirenia lo que le restaba un montón de puntos porque no era especial....Por eso TEMAZOS como Mind Maesltrom quedaban reducidos. Los temas de se disco,al menos la mayoría,ya estaban escritos y emanuelle hizo lo que pudo con el material que le dieron. Pero el que tiene la posta es el compositor principal y él es el que manda musicalmente ahí... Aylin solo estaba para poner la cara...Porque al fin y al cabo...Ni voz tenía. Entre esa y la Monika no sé quién era más rancia. Menos onda que un renglón. Emanuelle es muy carismática y tiene muchísimo más entrenamiento vocal. No hablemos como fanboys...Usemos el oído...Si lo tenemos...
