Apologies for the sound. The transmission failed during "Crazy", the 9th song of the set, and never got totally fixed. "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" was the very next song and whatever makeshift fix they applied was not applied in time to save this portion of the concert.

I have been listening to Linda Ronstadt sinvce the 60's, it is inconceivable to me that with all the grammy's, tony nonimations, singing on Broadway, and big bands, plus honering her own cultural heritage that she is not in the rock and roll hall of fame WTF - oh and did i mention the millions of albums she has sold. Have the governing board got their head up their - - - come on guys - Linda is one of the hottest women singers in rock ever !

Katacus --- Have you ever noticed that almost all of these great Music Artist's were born in the 1940's, some in the 50's. When you think of their parents... well they are called them Greatest Generation, so to me it just makes since that's were the talent came from. Just food for thought.

I saw Linda in concert in Yokohama Japan. The concert hall was full. You'd think the all the 'fans' would know that she was going to sing "...down in Yokohama..." and they would get excited. She sang "yokohama" and there was 10 second gap between that and the cheers. It's like they didn't really know her songs.

Always remember not to step in front of a moving train or allow yourself to get pushed. And quit trying to jump off the Colorado Street bridge in Pasadena. The local cops will try to talk you out of it, you'll only get a slight concussion if you do succeed in jumping and they'll put you back in the service. No escape. I love how Linda gripes about it though like a Waring Blender. Oh lord have mercy!

This may have been an afternoon test/rehearse recording. We recorded a lot of such tests, given enough tape back then. Today I roll for hours on end, enjoying complete freedom from the $10/minute cost in 1977. Linda, of course would be one of those artists a label would give us carte blanche to record.
