Speaking from a musician's standpoint it is unfair to compare Jason with his dad. Because Melvin did the studio version which was hot, anyone coming behind him doing his part live will bring a different flavor. On top of that Melvin has a unique style which makes Jason's job more complicated. I love the "I Want You" (Marvin Gaye) intro/transition into the song. Kevon is still bringing the heat and their band was tight. Great job gentlemen!!!

It's also about time we heard Keith sing a little. He can do it and I'm not sure why we don't get more of it. Jason has a heck of a voice if he'd just let go and do it. He has a VERY nice tone. No mistaking he's an Edmonds. He seems to hold back at times - afraid to shine. He can so it'd be nice if he did it.

Awesome! True Blue Voices. Their sound is unique. They take old songs and mold them into their style. After 7, is the kind of group that you can listen to all day long. For me, they are the modern day Delfonics. They sang from the soul, and they enjoy serenading. They are truely gifted. Each individual member brings quality voice to the table. Most of all...they sing with a onesness..I call that the Earth, Wind, and Fire style. I love the way they are able to improvise. I so enjoy listening to After 7. After 7...STAY TRUE TO YOUR SOUND. And I think After 7 is more successful than many of these groups around now. The reason is...no one has been able to commercialized thier sound as a group. Success is not measured by making a lot of money or becoming the number 1 popular group in terms of ratings. Success is just having the opportunity to excerise and share your gift.
