@@sirrando It really was the fact that you sneakly kill enemies and the violence (blood/gore) of the game - especially of the western releases, before Japan got the same "enhanced" version. You will be surprised but: Squares classic PS1 Game "Bushido Blade" is banned too - never understood why. Even Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines was banned up until recently (for Nazi-Stuff) But Rating and Censor Boards are pretty laid back now - not many Games getting banned anymore and we have like 7 games left on the list that violate a certain german criminal code, namely Paragraph (§) 131 (Manhunt 1+2, Hatred, Condemend 1+2, Wolfenstein (2009) for violence and not Nazi-Stuff)

I have done yes. But it was a toss up. 1) ayame is easier to sneak around d with because she is faster. 2) riki has one less boss fight. On judgement. I felt that with the stealth being harder. My God, you must have immense patience to do this. Although, a lot of your problems with the run kind of validate my theory that boss battles really have no place in stealth games. Unless you have the option to take them out sneakily, like The End in MGS3, I guess.
@sirrando2 ай бұрын
I think boss battles are fine in stealth games, and can change up the gameplay, inject something a little different into the game. But they do need to be designed in an interesting way, the boss fights in Tenchu specifically aren't anything to write home about, dont really have much in the way of interesting mechanics at all. In general the MGS boss fights are far better executed, the end being an obvious example of it being very well done. But Mantis, the fury, Raven, even the olga fight, all quite interesting, and still have stealth elements there whilst having their own interesting bits and pieces. But tenchu just had boss fights generally be "its a dude with a chunk of health" which is definitely not as interesting
