One thing you missed though, for many of the doors in the game you didn't need to look up the codes at all. Many doors in this game have a durability bar meaning you could destroy them by throwing barrels at them.

If I’m not mistaken you can toss stuns and collect ammo over by one of the pillars underwater, theoretically allowing you to do it without the tanq gun. But he does fly the grenades back at you so who knows how many attempts that would take.

Maybe it doesn't mean much as its just words, but I respect the stance. It's always nice to see someone who values their own work so highly they can't stand to see it take a back seat to commercial interests, and its a stance shared by most of my favorite content creators.
