What a gorgeous combination, wonderful subject separation, great job! It looks so dreamy. As an E2-F6 user I'm curious to know what frame rate you shot this in, it's such a lovely look. 2 things make me hesitate from biting the bullet: the weight and what Tom Antos reported around very short focus throw from 3-4m to infinity. Did you also notice that too I wonder? I'm not sure how easy it would be to track fast moving subjects in the 4m - infinity range because of this.

Alexandru, how did the Jupiter compare to the DZO Catta you tested?
@AlexDon2 жыл бұрын
From what I noticed there are some differences and here they are: 1. Catta flares more when Jupiter has very controlled flare. 2. Catta has 16 iris blades, Jupiter has 11 blades and so I think catta is softer a little bit. 3. Jupiter is way heavier, making Catta more run and gun preferable. 4. Minimal focus distance is similar on both 5. Catta has a warmer tone when Jupiter is natural.

Could you please say which adapter you did use?

Nice! It says 28-35 instead of 85 on your test footage

Yes, I did not realised until you told me 🙀😵💫 I speed edited this one so I can post it in time and it seems I missed that :(

Amazing, ¿How much does the lens cost, in dollars?
@ReleaseYourHandbrake2 жыл бұрын
Could the nice fall off you described due to the camera rather than the lens?
@alkophoto Жыл бұрын
Why does it say 28-35 T3.2? Is it a mistake? Should be 28-85. Did I miss something?
@AlexDon Жыл бұрын
Yes yes, I had a typo, sorry for that

How is the t3.2 in lowlight
@AlexDon7 ай бұрын
I haven't tested it in the lowlight yet, but it's all down to the camera, the zcam is pretty good in lowlight so I wouldn't be scared to use it at night with this lens!

Hi Alexandru, can you make review with Sony lens 16-35 T3.1?

Why didn’t you use your sony fx6? It’s full frame and has better specs!
@AlexDon2 жыл бұрын
The Jupiter is Ef so I wanted to test the lens on a native ef mount camera. The fx6 is amazing but Spec wise Zcam E2-F6 is better because it has 6k FF sensor with anamorphic modes and Prores recording.
