But if we box ourselves to the thought that the 'first ones' are always the better than the new ones, we won't be able to appreciate new voices in music industry. That being said, Aretha is still the Queen of Soul and Sisaundra Lewis isn't. However, the latter did a better job even at her version, while the former always have tried to evade those high notes in her live performances. No disrespect to the deceased AF.
