Nigeria isn't the only nation with corruption, it's everywhere! Corruption is the reason they may use to deny Nigeria membership to BRICS but I believe it's due to the vestiges of colonialism! Still a lot of decision makers in the world using colonialists and racists thought.

The reason may be other than corruption but it is neither racism or colonialism. This is not a club for the Western Countries. So, you can't use those accusations. Ethiopia was let in and South Africa is already a member.

Why is the sister disappointed that Nigeria was not accepted into the BRICS? That question makes no sense if she herself can observe that her leader does not agree to become independent from the West, if Nigeria entered the BRICS it is to comply with the Western agenda and thus cause friction in the group.

They were rejected because they're not really developing. BRICS is not an anti-Western organization; it is an alliance of developing countries. Because of their large population, Nigerians mistakenly believe they are the giant of Africa. It is a large population with a low GDP, the majority still live in poverty, and the government doesn't seem to care. Also, Nigerians living abroad taint the reputation of Nigerians with their drug dealing, human trafficking, and other vices. At this time, no country would really want to stand or associate with Nigeria. Why should they?
