Yep. The KZbinr Burb N Bougie was right. Women are opting out relationships ad decentering men which also means opting out of caregiving. This is a subsequent domino effect of that. That means nobody is going o remind men to take their meds or play the administrative assistant role and make your doctor appointments. There was also Shar Henley, another KZbinr that had a coroner that said that most of the bodies they pick up in apartments are men that died alone. Men over here better start BUILDING+nurturing your relationships. Men used to joke about women dying alone when NOW, it's been proven that this is NOT the case. Karma has arrived. Winter is here for men. Men are beginning to reap what they have sewn in terms of behavior. Nurse and a purse season is Over.

As a black man who's had medical problems and spent time in a nursing facility for rehab, I can confirm what this young woman is saying is the truth. I was blown away by how many younger to middle-aged black males I saw in rehab and on the long-term care floor. Luckily, I had family and extended family to visit regularly and advocate for me when necessary. If these facilities know you have people diligently looking out for you, you are more likely to receive better treatment. Unfortunate, but true. That whole experience taught me to take better care of myself and to regularly go to my doctor for follow-ups, tests, etc.

As long as women keep supplying these type of men with punani & time, they will play. People ignore that factor & put it all on the men. It's important 4 children 2 have a father as well as a mother who teaches them responsibility, not just with words, but by example. Like u, I don't feel sorry 4 them either. She is not lying. When I was a hospital chaplain, many patients were black men in their 40s & older. Most of them did not have children, wives, or long-term partners visiting or caring for them. Their children didn't want to have anything to do with them due to their mistreatment, neglect, or abandonment. No one was there to advocate for them when dealing with the r@C1st medical system. Many were transferred to hospice & long-term nursing homes only to be forgotten. I always visited BM, who was hospitalized on my shift. It was so sad & overwhelming. Many times I came home in tears.

This something that has been picking up down south. I'm in ga and I was a CNA for 18 years. And for the past 10 there has been a large uptick in young black men. Because in ga they allow inmates to come to the nursing home. Gunshot victims, people leaving prison to finish out their sentence at the nursing home. I had two you've men in their 20's both gunshot victims, crime related. Then the employees don't get any kind of training to deal with inmates. And they are just mixed in with the general population of the nursing home residents . It's dangerous and takes a lot out of the employees.

I will admit, a lot of what I've seen lately are young guys suffering kidney and liver failure from lean, popping pills etc and using alcohol simultaneously. The club scene, new era streets dudes as they call themselves. I call them the generation influenced by Lil Durk and Future. And all of these cats are under 35. They're in my younger brother and cousins age bracket and younger, much younger. Like the young rapper lil Keed here in ATL who died and Quando rondo who just had kidney issues from the lean and other "it drugs" they consume in this modern era.. And that ish is expensive too. They be paying $500-$2K or more for a chance at having organ failure... 😔🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🙏🏾

@ReaP JoY That’s a good idea! There should volunteer nurses going to all of the barbershops & beauty salons to take random blood pressure measurements in every major city. Especially where there are a lot of Black & Hispanic men & women. Or maybe the barbershops & salons can have a blood pressure machine, like the ones in CVS, Walgreens or Rite-Aid, in the shop so customers can do it themselves.

She is so right my oldest 2 children’s father hardly ever did what he should have. Due to a combination of things he had cirrhosis of the liver. He never thought his 16 & 15 yr old kids would move in and be his caretakers for 6 months. His son wiped him, changed his diaper & bathe him. His daughter fed him gave him meds. He had a mom who he barely treated right and she was old, 2 kids that I allowed to go stay with him, that he barely treated right. He had ran through so many woman and had other kids but they were younger than mine. They got to know their dad for the most part on his death bed because he was dead within 6 1/2 months . I never talked bad about him so these kids were willing to go help their grandmother take care of him. But we definitely didn’t see that coming

I'm sorry but I would have never put my kids through that. I would have simply never told them he was even still alive and shut the door on any of his needs. My children have already been through more then children should because of their sperm donors abusive and absent behavior. Why traumatize them even more? Don't you love them??

@@queen4269 You tried it ..they were very loved and this is why you and I are completely different. If you told them that he was not alive at some point you’d have to answer some very tough questions that your children, would no doubt be asking you. As soon as some other family meme er of his told them the truth. now wouldn’t that be traumatizing for the both of you and as you very well know Truth Hurts. lying to your children doesn’t make anything better and trying to say that it was because you want to help them is a Piss poor excuse. My children are grown now 30 and 28. They were glad to have gotten to know him, to be able to get answers to questions they had, they also were able to meet and know there other siblings and they all are close to this day, their children have relationships. I moved out of my father's house this past June primarily because I was his caregiver from 2019-2022. My 89 year old father is a gaslighting narcissist who never had any sort of accountability or responsibility for his abuse to my family, myself and my late mother. During the three years that I lived with him after my mother died in December, 2016, my dad never missed the opportunity to profane my mother's name and drag her name through the mud. We constantly argued for three years and he just blames me for things that went wrong in his life. When I mentioned having a part-time home health aide that the VA would pay for or get into a nursing home, Dad would argue me down! On June 2nd, an opportunity came to get my own apartment, I TOOK IT AND NOW I'M 100% FREE!!! So, I'm not really surprised that Black men are in nursing homes because adult children (particularly daughters) are refusing to take any kind of abuse from their fathers!!! BLACK MEN - THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TREAT YOUR CHILDREN LIKE CRAP!!!!YOU DESERVE IT AND YOU GET NO SYMPATHY FROM ME!!!!

We know how to cook. We know how to take care of our man. And we are very loving and kind. There is something very disturbing about throwing a black women away in America. We are not trash. We are dedicated to our family. You just have to look in the right place.
