You should try Its a 10 Miracle Leave-In. I just started putting it in my hair and love it. Like you my doesn't like me to put anything in it if I am planning to flat iron. But something about the leave in works. It doesn't way my hair down and its supposed to do a lot of great things for our hair.

So, I live in SC where is literally always humid. Flat ironing my hair gets me straight hair for all of an hour if I'm lucky. Is there a heat prep or a seal that will keep the humidity out when I do flat iron my hair so maybe it will last longer?

I have used Carol's Daughter products for a very long time now. They discontinued the best products but I'm Still rocking with the black vanilla. I've used this spray for years and mainly for finishing. Once I complete my silk press and I curl the ends I will put some of this in my hands and rub it into my hair instead of spraying it. Then I'll wrap it and then spray a little Mist on it before I put a scarf on. I would never spray this on my hair and apply a Flatiron😢

You should try the C. D Black Vanilla leave in conditioner spray. It has the same incredible shine && smell and you can use it before you blow dry so you will get the same results without it weighing your hair down

I say try using it again. you may have used too much. Try putting the amount you sprayed on each thin section, on bigger sections maybe even just the big 4 part sections and blow dry it in. Lol i have nowhere near your texture but i too have issues with products weighing my hair down, but blow drying them in helps. Then move straight to flat iron without adding any more 😊

Hi i saw that u like to iron ur hair but do not like using heat protectors because the make your hair greasy . I am a hair dresser from london and would like to recommend a heat protector from a brand called Redken called iron shape 11 thermal spray it has a lite weight consistancy and its waterbase that leaves your soft and shiny , u can use it on wet or dry . Try it u'll love it keeps the body in your hair . Sorry im rambling on i never post anything but i just had to help .
