It's getting worse in lreland...in Dublin the priests have been ordered to stop having adoration in the churches now. We have to start fighting back and our Bishops need to grow a spine and stop bowing to pressure from the government and start looking after their sheep just like Our Lord told them to.

You know well that we are in a spiritual warfare, of principalities and power, which started back in the early 60s, that history is repeating itself, reading the Bible, repenting and for conversions and going back to Holy Church. In our complex world, all religion is hard and, perhaps Catholicism most so. To keep faith is so difficult with scandalous priests, rigid portrayals of evil, sadistic nuns and the like. Yet, in the 78 years that I have lived, I have always tried to see goodness objectively and not to exihibit bias in my judgement. But, the two most perfect people that I have encountered in my life were both Catholic. One was a humble and saintly German nun who died of cancer, never mentioning her illness to anyone and selflessly showing kindness to all. The other was a lay Franciscan who looked after lepers selflessly until he was murdered in the Rhodesian bush war. His name was John Bradburne. Google him. Perhaps Sr Clare falls into their category.
