Now you know why Medieval knights had a squire to help them into their armour. Well done and very impressive. I've owned StormTrooper armor from that "other" Universe for 19 years now, and yes, you are very restricted in armour. Now that you mention aiming the Bolter, it does make sense design-wise. However, you remind me of the old days (80's) of CQB (close quarters battle, as the Brits called it) when everyone was carrying the MP5 9MM subgun. It was aimed by squaring off the shoulders to the enemy, and pointed directly to your front. This allowed several things; you could move toward the bad guys fast, enhancing your shock effect. Gross aiming was accomplished by aligning your whole body toward the target, and finally, squaring against the target faced the greatest part of your armour to any incoming. Who knew the Sisters and Marines had it right the whole time, huh? Keep up the great work!

Although knights had squires, absolute most of the armour has been designed to allow it's wearer to put on/off everything by himself. But just like with modern day firefighters or scuba divers - it's better to have someone check all your straps, joints and buckles before you go into the fray.

I agree on the corset, or "waist trainer" thing. I have one for my Entoma Zeta cosplay that I will be wearing in 2 weeks, and... yeah. I have it as tight as it can go just above the hip, but looser further up. Alas, my body is dense, and it won't let it tighten up properly XD

Armor is looking great keep up the good work on it. One thing I would recommend is looking for a Greek or asian style split dress in red so that you wont have the split seam at your waist, the shades will match exactly and the material should be ALLOT thinner and less heat retentive. If nothing else just make your own dress so not only save money but get exactly what you want in a perfect size to minimize material bunching under the armor.
