sororitas cosplay somehow never fails to impress... but this one is next level good. you could tell me that this is a costume made for a high budget film by leading industry pros, and i would STILL give props for the quality being outstanding even by that standard. nothing is out of place, bulky, plastic looking, etc. it really is flawless.

Games Workshop stores used to sell way over priced sweat shirt and yeah ok lots of people bought them but in the end they just got too greedy and shot them selves in the proverbial foot! Sales just declined over a period of time and they just phased them out!

As a professional cosplayer myself I can tell you there are types of suits that you Absolutely need 2 people for a specific part of the body that you can either not reach or plainly Impossible to put on your own. This is one of the great Cosplays I enjoy looking at in Admiration to Detail.

Fab costume. I like your comment about being dependant on others to get the costume on. Putting armour on in 40K much the same as putting armour on in the 15th century. Have a look at the Royal Armouries channel and the playlist on "How a man shall be armed" to see what I mean.

Aye, that aesthetic comes with all the same issues, basically. And much chapter fluff talks about marines having squires to arm them, battle-brothers assisting brothers, etc. It was a deliberate choice by GW, but it really does carry through to the reality of trying to portray it, too.

Like, as you were putting the pieces on I could already tell they were really well done but couldn't help but think about how difficult that is and how stiff and uncomfortable they must be to wear. But when it finally all came together... just DAMN, there was like this moment when you were 90% done that it all just clicked and you were transformed. Amazing.

This also just showed up in my recommendations, and it's amazing. Sisters of Battle cosplays are always impressive but this might be the best I've seen. If anything, the video doesn't do justice to how much work you put into it. I had to freeze it a lot to see all the detail. The shoulder and gorget is beautiful, the aged 2-tone wax on the purity seals, the paint work on the shoulder bolts and fleur-de-lis, the gold accents, etc. Well done, indeed.

Cosplaying SOB, Inquisitors, Commissars, etc, is so much easier and looks so much better than space marines because all these characters still have human proportions. Cosplay armors look really good with right proportions.

That. Looks. So. Good! I think improvement is laying in the movement. I think you could add a little bit of weight to the shoulder plates and the backpack. They are juggling with every slight movement. Heavy Metal has much more inertia and harder to move.
