When my dad and uncle (his brother) were young, they would often ride their bikes around town. One day, my dad got the funny idea to tell his brother to hang back for a while so they could prank their mom. My dad raced home and frantically told his mom that his brother had been hit by a car. After she started panicking, the brother walked into the door, and they were like, "Just kidding!" My grandma is now in her 80's, and if you ask her about it today, she just quietly shakes her head and says, "I will not relive that day". Not such a funny prank, lol

One of them was while I was in school around the age of 6/7 and my cat had just gone missing and one of the girls at my school who bullied me, told me she'd found my cat in the bush with a knife in his chest. Another was our high school was on high alert and the police came to the school because it had been reported that a girl who hadn't come into school had been killed, and that the man who killed her was going to take another child, all completely made up by some sick fuck. And the worst one for me was that my brother was in hospital in critical condition and someone said they'd overheard people talking in the office that he'd died. The day genuinely terrifies me now even though all of these incidents were a decade or two ago

I think what she said is valid, especially following the interview Dr Honda had with the ex-member. She indicated that the culture within their church is to always please the men and they weren't taught what to do if they wanted to do something you didn't want to do. It may literally be a "be careful" without talking navigating situations like that. Regardless, shaming women for having sex is always gross even if you think she's being hypocritical here. We don't know the circumstances and women already get SO MUCH shame around sex, even outside of their church. You can say a lot of things about Robyn, but referring to her as "giving out freebies under the bleechers at school", which we can't even confirm as true, is gross and unwarranted. Especially given their status and how many people would have an issue with them on the show, I would take a lot of skepticism with any "sources" who make these claims. Because. Why even talk about your sexual history with her unless it's purely to shame her for... not hurting anyone?

Please refer to Dead named Mariah as Meri's child at least.

Hanlon's razor: never attribute to malice what can easily be explained by ignorance. It's far more likely that Dr. Honda simply doesn't know about their transition. He says he avoids the kids' social media so he doesn't get spoilers, and at the point in the series he's watching, Leon hasn't even come out yet, much less changed their name.

@@Indoforscots-s2l it's never covered on the show so not a spoiler. Also the real person has asked for people to no longer refer to them by that name. With as many kids as there are just using Meri's child gives away nothing and respects the real life person's request.

I'd like a trans perspective of this name issue. If you are called by your dead name when referring to the past when you identified as that name is it inappropriate?

My ex is trans. There is no standard rule. It varies from person to person and how they feel about it.

It's sad that they played this prank about Logan being arrested for being drunk, and later Garrison dies with an alleged alcohol overdose.
@ResidentMilf5 ай бұрын
I don't know where you heard that, Garrison died of a self-inflicted GSW to the head.

@leigh FYI he asked for no spoilers in the comments.

Sadly it wasn't alcohol overdose. Alcohol played a factor. Sorry for the spoiler.
