Christine is getting way too much satisfaction out of Janelle leaving Kody. I know they are good friends and I think that's great, but Christine can be kind of pushy. She got so excited that Janelle and Maddie were looking at land. Janelle isn't as impulsive as Christine. She likes to think, consider, weigh things then make a decision. I think Janelle is a bit more private and conservative than Christine. Remember when the two of them went to visit, I think it was Christine's brothers? Christine started talking about Kody and family stuff and Janelle was a bit taken back.

This is not that challenging. There is a financial record of Janelle transferring that money for the house to Kody and Robin. She just needs to get a lawyer and she will be reimbursed at least the money she gave. Maybe not the art ect but she can at least get that money back. Per google: As of 2024, common law marriage is only recognized in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, New Hampshire, Texas, Utah, and the District of Columbia. Plus I don't think you can claim common law if 1 party is legally married to anyone else.

In arizona it’s 7 years and most states that allow common law marriage, it’s only 7yrs. Janelle and Christine and meri all have that. Even after meri’s divorce they would still be considered common law married and that’s even on tape of Kody saying he can’t leave her because they all have marriages in their eyes and the eyes of their church. He can’t get around it.
