I just found you. Love this quilt. Oh, happy day. Instead of adding more pins to each row to reflect t each row. Place your pins in alphabetical order according to color and place on each row. Example: blue would be for row one, green would be for row two. And so on. White and yellow would be your last two rows. Write down the colors corresponding to the number rows.

I do the same with my old pins and needles. Pill bottles are fabulous for keeping plant seeds as well, I also keep tweezers/nail Clippers inside a pill bottle in my purse.

Beautiful quilt top! I love how you teach and how we can learn from your mistakes. You are the 1st quilter I have seen that uses a prescription bottle for bad needles and pins besides myself of course. I thought of that when I was nursing before I retired! Hi Di I have another tip ,,, if you have a canister that is used for needles when you have to have shots you can put your rotary blades, pins, needles, anything sharp, then when full i tape it up that's what I do with all mine
