It’s about time that our ✊🏾community actually has a therapist who speaks the truth and who’s not about TV. it’s a breath of fresh air. Message!

LOL...are you serious? She's now an entertainment therapist with ghetto people from LHH & BBW. . A therapist's goal is to help patients make decisions and clarify their feelings in order to solve problems. The people on the show are there for a bag.

I appreciate your speculation, @@consciousanfesiashapsnikof8688, but to clarify, I'm a Licensed Therapist who's utilized television & radio for almost 20 years to bring mental health awareness to the forefront of our community. The public looks at these individuals and are willing to learn about the importance of mental health because they're captivated by the celebrity. I look at how the celebrity prevents these human beings from living the lives they desire. Hopefully you'll tune into the show this season to understand the difference between the two perspectives. 💚💚💚
@consciousanfesiashapsnikof86884 жыл бұрын
@@talk2spirit - Thank you for the clarity, but I'm not the public. People don't look to people (except Spinderalla) like the ones on your show for mental health help. I don't want to disrespect your profession. Nonetheless, some of the people on the show need a psychiatrist. Benzio, Althea, and Sundy have been on similar shows *acting* for the next reality gig. They're not representation of Black people. I'm sorry but I cannot support you with the cast of people on the show.

I completely respect your opinion. I am intrigued that you presume so much about the care the individuals got without watching the show (both psychological and psychiatric), @@consciousanfesiashapsnikof8688, however, I make it a rule never to argue with those with a made up mind. I appreciate the engagement and for watching my appearance. Be well. 💚💚💚

@talk2spirit - I wasn't clear in my post that I support you, but not you with this show of negative images of Black people/relationships. I love you, and your disposition/pose/level of professionalism. I don't want to see you as an entertainment therapist with ghetto people. I know...they're our people, but still...some of them don't want help. They would rather get money at the expense of negative images. I feel bad that you think that I'm unsupportive of you. You're beyond...too professional for some of the people on the show. You're going to be more successful than this show.

I’m so glad that what they called her for and the intent of this show was true and they followed through with it. This show has been beautiful and uplifting especially because “in our community” the stigma is that we don’t need therapy but it works clearly... OWN y’all did that Mrs. Spirit is that therapist

I saw you on a lady's show on u tube that I had never seen before,you spoke of " why do I keep meaning/dating the wrong men" a lot of us lady's say.you explained masks,and how if you put a mask on and let's say we are compassionate romantics,and give is a colour lavender,with out tuff outer mask from whatever hurt us on,and say that colour is red,we will always be attracting red,the wrong people for us.Anyway was the most important things I've ever heard,I love how you explain things ,you are amazing,thank you,you have made me a fan.

It is definitely a blessing that we are at a time where we can have a therapist, and a black therapist at that, speak to these couples who are in crisis. It is definitely a blessing that all the buffoonery and all the games have stopped being played. Whether we like to realize it or not, the state of reality TV is a microcosm of the unbalanced and spiritual depravity in the world, in our selves. We are the ones as audience who support maddening television that is damaging and diseased. Literally media moguls have made a fortune from the pain of humankind and unfortunately disproportionately from black folks who have sold their soul for a check ie, REAL HOUSEWIVES NARRATIVE, ETC. IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT WE TAKE OUR HEALING SERIOUSLY AND stop living behind the curve. There is no shame in getting help. It is too obvious THAT we are a society in breakdown and even more so in communities of color..we must help ourselves so we can strengthen our communities. Our families, our children. They deserve to have the very best of us as parents. Let's keep the progressiveness GOING.

What if your partner is not funny? He's boring. He's complacent and bland. Confused about what he wants to do in life? How can you find someone that really complements you? You're lilac inside but perceived as red outside. Don't you have to protect yourself? Should you go for what you want of what you need? Should you go for what is comfortable and manage with it or should you look for butterflies in the stomach thing? Is that even a thing? Won't it fade? I've got lots of questions! Please answer me.

Yep....like she doesn't belong there....If I had my way, I'd only keep Rashan on the panel and have the rest as supporting guests to the show.

It’s her style, makes her look frumpy. Whoever is styling her is needs to take it up a couple notches.

Trina needs her job like all of us but she's not a good fit. Her intellect is minimal. My soro Rashan is the voice of the show. Without her the show would be canceled.

@@brianamosley2002 - I totally agree with other posts that Raahan carries the show and everyone else should be guests supporting her. The other ladies are always ill- prepared. It's not their passion. It's the paycheck.
