If you decide to do this again, try doing them in smaller sections. I have sisterlocks and I did them in small sections and made a cute bob. Yes, I did struggle with some loose ends, but I added extra rubber bands. It’s definitely easier on traditional locs.

Imani Goodridge's KZbin page can help. They aren't in small enough sections and you need to twist all the way to the end and wrap the hair around after folding it up then slide it down.

Loc knots work for me when 1) I use mousse 2) only have 6-8 locs in the twist. I think the mousse helps most bc I flat twisted down the front of my head and the tails were pretty thick so I normally wouldn't expect definition but since I use mousse , it was super twisted

Try smaller sections next time! Or just doing the knots. But yeah traditional locs have this style and the loc petal bun

YES I LOVE THE IDEA OF THE STYLE, MY ENDS JUST KEPT DOING WHATEVER THEY WANTED TO LOL
