Thank you🥰🥰🥰. I have some build up in it this month, but it might just be lint. I didn't tie my hair at all this month. I usually tie my hair every night, use satin or silk pillowcases, and I don't use any products in my hair. Just water. That's it.

Hey Sis, great update, I am 7 months locked and mine look similar to yours. I have a few locks that look like the looser pattern you showed at the front of your hair, my consultant said they need to be 'pulled through' again to tighten up the lock. I will D'm you via Instagram 💕

Our hair will always be longer than it appears with locs. I'm 9 months now and my hair still shrinks heavily. I lose about 4 inches with shrinkage. I'm only okay with it because the shrinkage makes my hair look thicker & I want full hair more than I want long hair. lol How long is your hair? and how long does it look with your locs?

Are you confused about which size to get? Well, loc size refers to the parting space - the box they part for each individual loc. I have medium to large locs in my hair. The only reason they look small is because I have fine hair and medium/low density. So let's pretend I have 20 strands per 1/4" parting space and another person has 60 strands per 1/4" parting space. Their locs are gonna be 3 times the size of mine. So if you have thicker hair, and you want the same look I have, you will probably need to get smaller locs than me. You get it? lol Sorry for the paragraph. But I hope my answer helps!

Do you have sisterlocks? If you have sisterlocks, you should not be putting any products in your hair whatsoever. (At least until your hair is mature enough for it and your consultant says it’s okay). I’m not sure what you can do with other types of locs
