Sis, thank you for capturing your journey and sharing it with us. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago with the goal of sisterlocs. But after cutting the relaxer out, I learned that my hair is thin, naturally. I never loc'd my hair and have been wearing low fades and crochet braids. You've shown me that there is hope. Hey babe!! 🎈🎉 Your locs are out here showing out!! I don’t tie my hair up either I just sleep on a satin pillow case. I did bleach my locs 6 months in and I believe I caused a little damage so I don’t recommend that. I do use rinse dyes like the adore brand. I also tried the spray color and hated it ! It made my hair so stiff. Thanks for the update lovie!!!💛💛💛

Hey Queen, henna is a good natural option to color your hair. I have fine hair too and bleach and color damages our hair more and faster than the denser hair no matter how safely it is applied to the hair.

I went through two years of natural angel hair madness and now I’m back...I’m on top of the world! So, no regrets now, even through this plucked chicken look for now🤣, because I know what’s coming🤗

I would really suggest holding off on the color. I am on my second set of Sisterlocs and had my first set for 10 years- ash blonde and loved them ! My hair in this second set after a year of perm/ braids, etc…is low density like yours which is why I watch your channel. I’m 1 year in and decided to try to start the process of getting back to blonde. I literally did one of the box blonde dark and lovely applications and a big part of the top of my hair came unraveled. I immediately went back to black and I feel like I need another year of maturity before my hair could withstand lightening.

Hi Queen, see if you can find hair that’s the color that you like, and wrap your locs with it very lightly. It gives you a pop of color without taking a chance on damaging your locs, or a permanent color

@@chic619 so when I wanted to change the color of my locs or add a pop of color, I would get a a pack of hair, the color that I want. Then starting at the root, I would wrap some of the hair around my locs until it was covered. Sometimes I would do all the locs, sometimes I would just do some of them like highlights. Sorry I hope I’m explaining it a little better ☺️

Would you be against ginger, onion peel, or horsetail spritzers, or castor oil...I'm dealing with thinned out hair from hormonal imbalance and DHT. I've been using these things asking with coffee oils and iron pills and I've notice improvement. The main thing I think really helped too is distilled water rinses, because the hard water was killing all moisture! Game changer frfr. I'm a loose natural atm...but I intend to loc it down eventually... Just wondering if youve tried any of these. Love your life Sis 💕

@@chic619 DHT is the hormone responsible for thinning, or hairfall..I. Both men and women. And I wouldn't be afraid of any of these because they are all natural. Unless you're allergic, but I can't see that being an issue. I love holistic medicines☺️..also God tells us the plants and herbs are medicine for Us 💕 idk why I didn't think to say this B4 but you should check out this young sisters channel, called StarPuppy. Not only is she hilarious, but she fixed the same thinned hair issues you and others here are dealing with..you can see her journey ...she's rocking an impressive full fro now. Thank me later..she'll make you smile💕
