This is a great story. Congrats to the half sisters. However, the angle of this story -- viewing it entirely from a racial lens that once again villainizes white males -- is SO misplaced and misleading, and ultimately creates an unnecessary animosity. The wine industry, like art collecting, often caters to high end consumers, so of course competition remains fierce and the status quo protects itself against newcomers - regardless of background. Moreover, let's not forget that this story begins as a result of the sexually irresponsible behavior of a black male that abandoned his daughters and their mothers.
