'You and I' comes after Goodnight. In an interview Jiu explained that after they trapped the nightmare hunter, they started to give people nightmares by taking pictures of them ( 2:04 ). At some point Yoohyeon is taking pictures of an old woman, but it turns out that she is the Spider Lady, the one who cursed the girls in 'Fly High' after they killed the spider (the one who covers Gahyeon eyes in 'Fly High'). The Spider Lady wants revenge and she traps Yoohyeon in a nightmare realm (where there is a structure that looks like a magnifying glass ( 5:01 ) , that Yoohyeon used to burn the spider in 'Fly High'). The other girls try to save her opening a portal, but the portal closes before she can escape and now Yoohyeon is trapped in the nightmare alone.

ok so i watched a theory video & basically they run a photoshop now because they're witches & they can only do things to people if they have their photo. the spider lady came in pretending to be a customer but actually came for revenge on yoohyeon. she tried to get into the portal but was to plate so now she's separated from the rest of the girls that's why in the next music video, they are trying to find her (specifically JiU) & get back together

By the way, Dreamcatcher has 2 Japanese releases: "Endless Night" and "Breaking Out". On November 20th, they are releasing another Japanese song, titled "No More". "Breaking Out" is sometimes considered to be an alternate ending to the nightmare storyline. "Endless Night" is their hardest song to date, so far. Please react to those 3 eventually. Remember when they burned a paper from a black book on good night then suddenly the hands that holds SuA starts burning too. Yea that's what they're doing to the picture in this mv. They're trying to separate the spider from yoohyeon and perform every dark magic possible just to release her but the spiderlady is very powerful Anyways this is just my theory

6:56 that's a spinning top and the reason why it's there is because jiu carries it along with her everywhere to figure out where they are. a spinning top usually doesn't spin that straight, it falls down eventually if you are in the real world. in the dreamworld, this doesn't happen. in fact, it keeps spinning forever, never losing its balance. that's why she starts running right after she realizes what's happening.

Here are a few key points in the video that may help you figure out what's going on... 1) This takes place after Good Night, after they've escaped the boarding school / hotel. 2) JiU is trying to free the girls from the curse and succeeds in doing so. We see this represented in the exorcism scene where the smokey figure leaves Yoohyeon's body. 3) Looking back to Fly High where all this began, Yoohyeon + magnifying glass = 1 dead spider and 1 very pissed off Spider Lady. Because she is especially pissed off at Yoohyeon for killing the spider, The Lady returns in the form of an old lady, gets Yoohyeon alone and reasserts her power over Yoohyeon, putting her back under the curse. We see this represented in the photography scene where the old lady turns into a giant spider and in the scene where the smokey tendrils re-enter Yoohyeon's body. 4) At the end of the video we see Yoohyeon, alone, kneeling at the portal after it closes, showing us that she is the only one still trapped in the nightmare. Note: The portal represents the exit from the Nightmare Realm. The brass thing on the floor is just a spinning top. What it signifies is a mystery to me. You mentioned that you want to watch a theory video after you're done with the series. As I've said in my previous comments, there is very little official information about the story so just be aware that any theory video you watch will be just that, a _theory_ video. Outside of what little official information there is available, what will be in those videos will be their best guesses, their own interpretation of what is happening in the story. Not that they won't be entertaining and informative, just don't take everything they say as absolute fact. Creepy fact: At 35 seconds into the video we see Handong in a corner, surrounded by spider webs and what look like giant pins. Those pins look suspiciously like the pins used to mount dead bugs (butterflies, beetles and, yes, even spiders) in display boxes.

@@IMaeBreeze Thanks for the response. I know all this can be very confusing during the first journey through the videos. If I can help along way it's my pleasure. I mentioned this in my comment on your Fly High reaction, but I think needs a little special attention. Most people think that Yoohyeon burning the spider triggered the curse. However, is you re-watch Fly High you'll see that things start to go bad before she burns the spider. We see a few things in the video that leads me to believe this. At one point we see The Lady take Gahyeon while she is laying in her bed. We see Yoohyeon, obviously afraid, fleeing the school. Then she stops, turns around and we see that she is no longer afraid. In fact, her eyes look almost dead, maybe a little evil. My theory is that The Lady caught Yoohyeon trying to flee and asserted her will on Yoohyeon, forcing her to turn back. I also think this is what prompted Yoohyeon to burn the spider. You see, the curse was just starting to take hold on Yoohyeon, it had just started to make her turn evil, which is what made her do such a cruel thing as burning the spider with a magnifying glass. However, the curse hadn't fully taken hold yet so she was unaware that the spider was actually The Lady's minion. She did not know that burning the spider would piss off The Lady so much and doing so made Yoohyeon a special target for The Lady, as we've seen in this video. Disclaimer: As I've said over and over again, there is very little official information on the story. This is all based on my own personal theories, but to me it makes sense. Others may have their own take on all this and their theories are all just as valid as mine. Anyway, I'll let you get back to your won theorizing. Love the reactions. Keep them coming. Peace out!

They work in a photography place so that’s why the woman (who’s a spider) is there. The camera then reveals the true form of the woman, so that’s why there’s a spider Shadow. The rest of the girls then perform a Seance/ exorcism on Yoohyeon but it fails and this is represented when Yoohyeon is running towards the portal, her hand outstretched but she doesn’t make it in time and it closes. JiU then covers her eyes with her hands which, to me, reminded me of when people would place coins on dead people’s eyes.

The gold thing is a top that is spinning. I've heard that dreaming of a spinning object, like a top, is believed to foreshadow bad things coming soon in Korean superstition, though I could be wrong about the location or the words used. I do know for sure that somewhere it is believed that dreaming of spinning objects foreshadows something bad coming.

okay, so here is some explanation and some (personal) theories~ After the events of good night, the hunter gets trapped in the mirror and dreamcatcher falls back into old habits of tormenting people's dreams, but not in a haunted hotel anymore, instead, they are using the pictures. You know that old urban legend about getting your soul trapped when your photo is taken? What if it's not your soul, but your dreams? Here is what they were going for, trapping people's dreams and haunting them. Until a certain spider lady pays them a visit, pretending to be a naive human who wants to get her pic taken. Yoohyeon is the one who burned the damn spider (yoohyeon is always the one who is always doing cursed shit), so she is probably the main target. Now here is a personal theory. Im on board with the theories saying their human side and nightmare side both share one body, coexisting somehow, as we've seen two Jius in Fly High. So I personally believe Yoohyeon's evil and human sides are now disconnected, and her body is now controlled purely by her evil self due to the spider lady's doing, while her human self is trapped inside her own mind, in the portal scenario. The next bit of info was confirmed by the girls: The other members try to perform rituals to find Yoohyeon and bring her back, but they fail at it, and the portal closes before Yoohyeon can get through it. However, if you want to believe deep inside your brain they succeeded, you are free to see it in your own way. Another personal theory of mine: The fact they lost the book after Good Night events may have made them quite vulnerable, therefore they couldnt find the best rituals and/or methods to bring yoohyeon back, causing them to fail. The next two mvs, What and Piri are not explained as a direct continuation for the series, even though they are part of the Nightmare series, but somehow a pararel story that has no relation to the main storyline that has been happening in the first 4 MVs. So the story is supposed to end here with a tragic scene. However, i've connected the dots (or not), and i do have a theory about the others mvs being connected to this and actually working as some sort of continuation.

Wow, you are so perceptive! The order of the MV's or even parts of the video might not be chronological. In Fly High they were boarding school girls and became witches. In You and I Yoohyeon became possessed, they tried an exorcism but Yoohyeon became trapped in another dimension. In the end scene of Goodnight they did rituals in the woods but lost their book. Imo as still living witches at this point. Somewhere they all became the ghost-like nightmare beings of Chase Me, living in other people's dreams. In Goodnight the witch/ghost hunter used the book against them, they got it back and trapped him. I think most believe You and I is after Chase Me and Goodnight, but I feel they are still human witches at this point but want more power to free Yoohyeon! So they experiment more with witchcraft and this dreamrealm. Photographs can maybe trap one's soul? Maybe you need to embrace your own fear, your personal nightmare and let yourself be trapped to become this ghostlike being. I think they made the book, which gave them powere but made them vulnerable. Could have been a century ago, who knows? Maybe the encounter with the hunter woke them up, and reminded them of themselves and their search for Yoohyeon? Have fun being sucked further into the nightmare in What and Piri, and don't leave out Breaking Out!
